FredrickVaughtGallery is commited to proveide excellence and unique paintings for an affordable rate. Located in Columbia Mo, north of Jeffereson city, Fredrick mixes his own pigments and uses egg yolk as the binder. This Technique is one of the oldest forms of paintings pre-dating oil painting and was prevalent in the13 and 14th century called egg Tempera. Paintings are painted on canvas board and are framed by Fredrick. All pigments are from Sinopia which provides excellent quality pigments. Paintings are protected with several coats of varnish to give a nice shine and protection from the elements.   What makes Fredrick Vaught Gallery special is you can customize what you want. If you want a painting that is not in stock; Fredrick will paint a new one. The new painting will have its own unique quality to it. This gives the sense of haveing your own painting commissioned. Currently Fredrick is painting landscapes of Missouri and starting a new collection of icons which should be available soon. Fredrick also builds his own frames from lumber bought from local lumber stores in columbia missouri. His paintings are painted with eggs that are bought from a local egg producer located in Columbia Missouri called Wild Earth Farms.
